Rating Guidance

Clear, evidence-informed ratings that align with district expectations and support professional growth.

Rating Framework

Our evaluation process uses a clear five-tier rating system: Meets Expectations, Area for Growth, Unsatisfactory, and Not Applicable. This framework ensures consistency and transparency across all classified management roles within the district.

Meets Expectations

Consistently demonstrates the core competencies and leadership standards required for the role. Evidence is robust and directly supports the rating.

Unsatisfactory

Significant gaps in performance that require immediate attention. Evidence must clearly demonstrate a lack of proficiency in key operational or leadership areas.

Area for Growth

Shows potential for improvement in specific leadership domains. Evidence highlights strengths but also identifies clear areas for targeted professional development.

Not Applicable

Used when the role or assignment does not require the specific leadership competencies being evaluated. This rating is documented with supporting evidence.
